That time again...

#4 is heading off to college this week. Yup.

I'm okay...but doggone it, there is something wrong with the kleenex around here ... there is just never enough.

Keeping it all Straight...

G/Drain - slightly more mature partner, former parish minister, now a private practice therapist (yes, this comes in handy...) who lives life as big as I do. He has named himself Drain because, he says, his job is to keep me from getting full of myself...sigh.

MHS - 26! year old son, living on his own too far away

BHN - MHS's bio sister, 24, adopted in S. Korea at the same time. She recently graduated from college and also moved too far away.

KP - 22, out on his own - well, and living with the girl - my first child

CP - 18 year old - on his way to college in NYC and the big life; musical and humorous in a pensive and quiet way; he is an observer; studying to be a writer

EJ - 16 year old, adopted in China at 9; loves to read, paint, and keep her room exceedingly neat

TT - 16 year old, adopted at 12 years old; happiest when playing basketball

XJ - 14 year old thoughtful, artistic, musical, joined our family when she was 6 years old

CC - 14 year old mighty mitochondria - eats more than the rest of them combined, and is wirey and strong; his pitching skills are already legendary in our little town
