EJ and Boys

I love having kids alone in the car too and from events -- no distractions.

EJ is a freshman in high school, and is refreshingly innocent in many ways. Today she had two parades to march. In the car on the way to one of them she curled her feet up on the seat, peeled a big grin and said:

I think I would like to have a boyfriend.

Me: You would? Um, you mean you would like to kiss a boy?

EJ: Grin turned to grimace...Ew, no, Mom, that would be gross.

I think we are safe for a little while longer....
